A refreshing place to rest whilst journeying to/from Cape Town and/or the Garden Route.
The charm of this village may no longer be a secret, but our garden still is!
This unique B & B is housed in a captivating Victorian cottage, (circa 1852). The building has been lovingly restored and
features many original oregon ceilings, floors and doors.
It nestles comfortably on one of the most visited streets in the village of Montagu, which abounds with historic buildings, culminating with the beautiful NG Church at the very end.
Many places of interest are within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, museums and parks.
Despite the central situation, the "secret garden" to the rear of the house, transports one to a place of peace and tranquillity.
The charming swimming pool offers relaxation and refreshment, whilst the bird-filled garden lures one to take a stroll.
The two luxurious rooms are equipped with numerous home comforts. The beds are dressed in the finest 100% cotton percale linens.
Honesty bar facilities as well as hospitality trays grace the rooms.
This is a B & B with a few differences. The ideal location makes for relaxed exploring of the various attractions, most of which can be reached within a few minutes walk.
The views of Montagu from the private deck of the charming street, as well as the mountain peaks, is quite unique. Delicious breakfasts
(and lunches/dinners by arrangement) may be enjoyed
in the verandah overlooking the garden or under the gazebo. Because the number of guests is limited, the hosts are able to provide individual attention.
